PERFORMANCE ART

Drawing from her studies on theatrical/film acting, Deaver creates performance pieces that serve as both source material and counterpoint to her oil paintings. The performances, which she produces and sources herself, often feature a blend of experimental costumes, hair, and makeup, with settings drawn from natural or liminal spaces.
